Greetings

My name is Ashley Dickenson, your prospective parliamentary candidate for the Carshalton and Wallington constituency. I am an early-retired civil servant (formerly Administrative Support for the Metropolitan Police, as well as with the UK Border Force). In my spare time, I am a radio presenter with Radio St Helier (hospital radio). A Standard Bearer for the Royal British Legion. My hobbies are: reading, music, watching TV documentaries; I support Israel through Christian Friends of Israel and Zionist Federation and I undertake occasional visits to pro-Palestinian talks / debates to challenge speakers on behalf of Israel. I have campaigned to prevent unfair trading by large shops at the expense of smaller shops; I have campaigned to prevent the closure of a grocer’s shop containing a convenient Post Office, in Carshalton and am currently campaining to prevent the closure of a newsagent’s shop in Carshalton Beeches; I assist at the Sutton Food Bank.
